Our Philosophy
We believe in efficient resolution of problems. Adversaries know we’ll take cases to trial if necessary, but we also look for creative ways to resolve disputes without litigation. We pride ourselves on giving personal service. If we represent you or your business, your case won’t be shuffled around from one lawyer to another. We see the practice of law as a service, not just a business. We spend significant time representing the underrepresented, including low-income persons and those who have been harmed by pollution and abuse of the land, air, and water.
Our Awards
Our firm has been recognized for excellent service and dedication to our clients. Recently,
Heather Schlozman was recognized for her excellence and given a
Pro Bono Award by the Kansas Bar Association. This award recognizes lawyers or law firms that volunteer their services, free of charge, to the poor or, in some instances, to charitable organizations some instances, to charitable organizations whose primary purpose is to provide services to the poor.
In May 2016, Dugan Schlozman was honored by the Kansas City Chapter of Empower Missouri for our volunteer work. We were honored for our work with wage theft victims in the metropolitan Kansas City area. We really enjoyed working on this project and we were so honored to be recognized by the KC Chapter of Empower Missouri.
Currently our own Mark Dugan is in the process of being Elected as the Vice President of the Kansas City affliate chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association.
Our Fees
